I've only a second on this lovely -5 degree Sunday to post my color mosaic for the week. I'm beginning to realize that I'm probably going to have to go buy the big box of Crayola Crayons in order to do this project properly.Ah the smell of new crayons evoke such memories from many first day of school from my past, the colors, the smell, the sharpener on the back of the box that usually broke with the point of the very first crayon stuck in it. Here's as far as my mind can reach today. The morning was spent on a freezing cold play date with 4 Labs, 2 tennis balls, two lacrosse stick, one rosy cheeked little girl and a lot of frozen fingers and toes. I hope to have some shots of that later this week, but the cold weather exhausted my camera battery. So for now I leave you with "Really Red"

I absolutely love your red composition. It's so evocative!

Luv Really Red-
umm-crayon smell-only to be beaten by the excitement of a getting to start over with a new box of perfectly pointed crayons of all sorts of great colors.
When we were in Sienna, Italy in Sept., we found out that is where the color Burnt Sienna came from. all the local buildings are that very color!

you're so right about the crayon smells...I had a cookie tin full of crayons, and remember also the sound of them inside of it.
