Does it ever amaze you how in the summer time, the simplest, everyday things just seem that much more special, or bring just the slightest upward turn to the sides of you mouth?? Things that would somehow go unnoticed during the doldrum, gray days of winter take on a new life when the fresh air is all around you and the warm sun is touching you on the back of your neck. Like the day we spent chasing Dragonflies,
looking under bushes for bull frogs, and blowing bubbles in the yard.
and then there are those oh so winter crafts that are begging to be started so that they can actually be used in the cold weather, like the Granny square crocheted quilt that I started after viewing the one on my cousin Kristin's Bolg, Honeyflake. The one she saw at the festival looked like thisbeautiful antique one, mine is taking on a more modern color scheme
